Also known as: TLB-150, Sustalone, RAD-140 Ester, RAD150

Selective Androgen Receptor ModulatorsResearch phase: PreclinicalRegulatory: Not FDA-approved. WADA prohibited. Research chemical only. No clinical trials.

Mechanism

RAD-150 is an esterified version of RAD-140 designed for a longer half-life and more stable blood levels. The ester modification provides extended-release pharmacokinetics, potentially reducing dosing frequency and peak-trough fluctuations compared to RAD-140.

Technical detail

RAD-150 (TLB-150/Sustalone) is a benzoate ester prodrug of RAD-140 that undergoes esterase-mediated hydrolysis in vivo to release the active RAD-140 moiety. The ester modification increases lipophilicity and creates a depot effect following administration, extending the effective half-life and producing more stable plasma concentrations. No formal clinical trials have been conducted; all data derives from anecdotal reports and extrapolation from RAD-140 pharmacology.
