Also known as: Hepatamin Cytamin, Liver Cytamin

Bioregulators (Khavinson Peptides)Research phase: Clinical use in Russia, no Western trialsRegulatory: Not FDA-approved. Available as bioregulator supplement in Russia and from international suppliers.

Mechanism

Hepatamin is a liver-derived cytamin designed to support hepatic detoxification, metabolic function, and liver cell regeneration. It contains peptide bioregulators extracted from animal liver tissue that are proposed to help normalize liver enzyme activity and protect hepatocytes.

Technical detail

Hepatamin contains a complex of low-molecular-weight peptides and nucleoproteins derived from bovine or porcine hepatic tissue. These tissue-specific peptides are proposed to act via epigenetic modulation of hepatocyte gene expression, normalizing cytochrome P450 enzyme activity, supporting glutathione conjugation pathways, and promoting hepatocellular regeneration. It is used in Russian clinical practice for toxic hepatitis, fatty liver disease, and post-pharmaceutical liver support.
