Chronoline is a cosmetic peptide claimed to activate skin stem cells and stimulate the production of lumican, a proteoglycan involved in collagen fiber organization.
Technical detail
Chronoline (caprooyl tetrapeptide-3) is a synthetic lipopeptide reported to stimulate CD44 and CD73 stem cell markers and increase lumican expression in dermal fibroblasts. Lumican is a small leucine-rich proteoglycan critical for collagen fibrillogenesis and corneal transparency. Used in anti-aging cosmetic formulations.
